– Born on October 12, 1950 in Ahmednagar in a middle class family.  Both his parents gave substantial contribution for Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya prasarak Samaj. They established the institute called Zilha Saksharta Mandali and started 415 voluntary primary schools.

– Dr Vivek Bhapkar had his primary education in Naveen Marathi School at Ahmednagar. He had his high school at Society High School Ahmednagar. He did his MBBS through B.J. Medical College, Pune. He took MS degree through G S Medical College Mumbai. He started his medical practice through many hospitals in Mumbai.

– 1985 established Bhapkar Hospital in Maliwada, Ahmednagar. He worked for poor and needy people through different services of the hospital. As a result of his keen interest in social and educational work he is selected as a Trustee of Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj in 2004.

– Had been working as a General Surgeon at Anand Rishi Hospital in Ahmednagar .

-From 2003 remained President and Secretary of Rotary club in Ahmednagar.
